Introduction

Department of History was established in the year 1969 at General level (UG). At present Assistant Prof. Mrs. Sunita B. Patil is head of the department. Strength of the student in the department is increasing day by day. At present 250 students are enrolled in subject of History at UG level. Department organizes special lectures/invited talks for the students appearing in competitive Examinations. Department celebrates birth/death anniversaries of freedom fighters and historical figures. Department also organizes study tours/visit to historical monuments/sites on regular basis.
