Introduction

The department of Chemistry was established in the year 1972. The department offers UG (Aided) programme in Chemistry and PG (Un-aided) programme in Organic Chemistry. The department is a recognized Research Centre and offers M.Phil./Ph.D. programmes. The department is fortunate to have a blend of experienced and young faculty members, which makes the teaching learning more effective. Three faculty members have Doctoral degrees and five are pursuing their Doctoral degree from the institutes of repute. Department has Nine research students registered for Ph.D. Department has received grants from UGC and BCUD K.B.C. N.M.U. Jalgaon. So far Eleven Minor research projects are sanctioned.
